本片以喜剧风格讲述了两个来自不同社会阶层的人物在一场离婚中所经历的一些事情。女主角是一个高级法官，其妹妹则是低阶社员。 sisters Edwige Fenech and Luca are on opposite sides of the social ladder. The elder sister, Rosanna (Edwige Fenech), is a high-ranking magistrate, while her younger sister, Orietta (Luca Turatti), is an aspiring actress. The two sisters couldn't be more different in their personalities and lifestyles. Orietta has always been pampered and indulged, with a taste for the finer things in life. Her desire to become an actress ultimately leads to her husband's discovery of their illicit affair. However, their affair ends abruptly when Rosanna finds out about their relationship. The sister's relationships also are complicated when the wife learns that the brother is having an affair with the other sister.
